Welcome to Maison Aurélia. By accessing and using this website, you agree to the following terms.

Maison Aurélia is a luxury label specialising in furs, cashmere knitwear, and ready-to-wear pieces, designed and curated in the Czech Republic for clients worldwide.

2. PRODUCTS

We strive to display our products as accurately as possible. However, slight variations in colour, texture, and natural materials — especially genuine fur, wool, and cashmere — are part of the inherent beauty of each piece and are not considered defects. We cannot guarantee absolute accuracy of colour rendering on different screens.

3. PRICING & CURRENCY

All prices are listed in Euros (EUR). As Maison Aurélia is not a VAT payer, no VAT is added to displayed prices. Prices may change without prior notice. The price applicable to your order is the one displayed at the time of purchase confirmation.

4. ORDERS

By placing an order, you make a binding offer to purchase the selected items. The contract of sale is formed upon our written order confirmation sent to your email address. We reserve the right to decline any order at our sole discretion, in which case any payment received will be fully refunded.

5. PAYMENT

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro), as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. All transactions are securely processed via Shopify Payments. Payment is taken at the time of order.

6. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Please refer to our Shipping & Delivery page for delivery times, shipping rates, and information about customs duties for international orders.

7. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL & RETURNS

In accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU and the Czech Civil Code §1829, consumers may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without providing any reason. Full details and exclusions are set out on our Returns & Exchanges page.

Bespoke, made-to-order, and personalised items are excluded from the right of withdrawal in accordance with §1837 of the Czech Civil Code.

8. DEFECTIVE GOODS & WARRANTY

Consumers are entitled to statutory rights for defective goods under the Czech Civil Code (§2099 et seq.), including a 24-month warranty period for new items. Defects must be reported within a reasonable time after discovery. Please contact us with photographs and a description of the issue.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this website — including images, text, designs, logos, product names, and the “Maison Aurélia” trademark — is the property of Barbora Licovová and is protected by Czech and international copyright and trademark law. Unauthorised use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maison Aurélia’s liability is limited to the purchase price of the goods. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of the Czech Republic, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights under applicable EU directives.

Consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. The competent supervisory authority for consumer disputes in the Czech Republic is the Česká obchodní inspekce (Czech Trade Inspection Authority), coi.cz.

12. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may revise these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
